Children’s Residential Support Services at Keyline Care operates Ofsted-registered therapeutic residential homes for children aged 7 and upwards. Backed by a team of professionals with years of combined experience, our children’s services are designed for those who have experienced trauma or have complex emotional needs. We believe that nothing is impossible, and every child deserves the opportunity to achieve true independence, well-being, and their full potential.
We provide:
🏠 Therapeutic Residential Care (Ages 7–15)
-
Our homes for younger children focus on stability, healing, and rebuilding a sense of safety.
-
Trauma-Informed Environments: Safe, predictable, and warmly structured homes where children can process past experiences and begin to heal.
-
Emotional Resilience & Self-Esteem: Individualized, trauma-informed care plans designed to help children understand their emotions, manage behaviors that challenge, and build a positive self-image.
-
Holistic Development: Active support for educational engagement, physical health, and regular social and recreational activities to help children just be children.
🚀 Transitional Support & "Pathway to Independence" (Ages 16–18)
-
The transition to adulthood is a critical turning point. We provide specialized pathways to prepare older teenagers for life beyond residential care.
-
Bridging the Gap: Specialized transition planning for young people moving on from foster care or residential schools, ensuring they don't face the cliff-edge of turning 18 alone.
-
Practical Life Skills: Focused, hands-on guidance covering essential adult milestones—including budgeting, cooking, household management, and navigating community resources.
-
Expert Crisis & Behavior Management: Our staff are highly trained specialists in supporting young people with complex histories and high-acuity needs, providing a rock-solid, secure platform from which they can confidently launch their adult lives.
-
Our Promise: We don't just provide a place to stay; we build a foundation of confidence, stability, and purpose for every child and young person who walks through our doors.
